Wiki and Rules Update.
The 77th JSOC PR department recently decided to adjust some rules to better promote the gameplay we seek for our public servers. This, in turn, is affecting the rules section and some of the handbooks in our wiki.
The following list will cover the changes to rules and handbooks, It will also cover the intended effect of the changes and how our admins are expected to handle the changes when administrating the servers.
1: 77th JSOC Rules update: https://www.77th-jsoc.com/wiki/77th_JSO ... Guidelines
ROE updated with the addition of CAP to the rule. The adjusted rule states: CAP/CAS/UAV/Artillery/Armor are not to take down any targets unless called in by squad leaders.
Armor crew added to rules: An armour crew is always 3 players.
All armoured vehicles are regarded as armour and need a strict 3 crew squad operating them: (Marshall, Gorgon, Marid, Kamysh, Mora, Slammer, Kuma or T-100).
This will clear the confusion for ROE since all armoured vehicles will be subject to the ROE for armour.
(Armor are not to take down any targets unless called in by squad leaders.)
2: Adjustments to the Squad size guidelines section: https://www.77th-jsoc.com/wiki/77th_JSO ... Guidelines
The phrasing "Mechanized" is removed, the prior "Mechanized" is from now on referred to as Armour.
Admins are to enforce a strict 3 member crew policy for any armoured vehicle (Marshall, Gorgon, Marid, Kamysh, Mora, Slammer, Kuma or T-100). There will be no "Mechanized" squads, all armour needs a crew of 3.
If a squads want to be transported with an APC/IFV/Tank they will be regarded as two different entities, the crew(armour) and the squad.
3:Adjustments to the HQ handbook:https://www.77th-jsoc.com/wiki/77th_JSO ... Q_Handbook
Secondary function section adjusted (section 4), It now covers the need of an active HQ for the use of manned CAS aircrafts.
Reward system section adjusted (section 6.2), Contains clarifications about HQs function in regards to any vehicle bought by HQ.
4:Adjustments to the pilot Handbook:https://www.77th-jsoc.com/wiki/77th_JSO ... t_Handbook
The ROE for CAP and CAS is adjusted to reflect server standards in the Pilot secondary(3.2) and pilot third function(3.3) sections of the handbook.
CAP need SL request.
Maned CAS need SL request and HQ authorization.
Keep in mind, UAV is the only CAS capable platform allowed to engage ground targets on SL request only.
Updates to section 3.4 and 4 for pilot behaviour towards new players.
Updates to the Improper behaviour list (section 4.1): point 7,8 and 9 added to list.
5:Adjustments to the SL handbook:https://www.77th-jsoc.com/wiki/77th_JSO ... r_Handbook
Updates to the Communication section, specifically 5.2.4, the calling in support section. Updated to reflect the importance of support being precise when specifying targets for CAS.

Wiki and Rules Update.
Major rework of the wiki has been performed, the addition of a rules clarification section to help players understand the meaning of the rules have been created and in the process, the Rules and guidelines sections have been split into two separate sections.

2: A completely new section covering the rules in some extended details added.
3: New rules/guidelines are now in effect for callsigns. All assets have specific guidelines to follow.
The new rules regarding callsigns are as follows:
"All server elements need to have appropriate callsigns, Squad names are allowed to be only within the Phonetic Alphabet. Alpha, Bravo, Charlie and etc."
The expanded information for the rule states as follows:
"All server elements need to have appropriate callsigns for their function, any inappropriate callsign will be changed.
The callsigns must reflect the function of the element and not come across as offensive or irrelevant.
Examples for HQ would be: HQ, Crossroad, CentCom
Examples for pilots would be: Pilot 1, Pilot 2, Vortex, Hawk, Raptor, Transport
Examples for UAV would be: UAV, Hawk
An armour unit should use an appropriate callsign for their function, any inappropriate callsign will be changed.
Examples for Armour would be: Hammer, Kilo (Armour), Rhino, etc.
All infantry based squads must use a name out of the NATO phonetic alphabet.
They are not allowed to have any additions to their names. They should purely be the phonetic name, nothing more, nothing less.
Squad leaders must start with a vacant name already available on the squad signs at base since this will guarantee an available line up point for the squad.
If all squad names at base are taken a squad leader may continue to choose from the NATO phonetic alphabet not included on the base signs."
