We applied a couple of changes to the mission.

Added:
- New uniform skins (thanks to Pfc. Ateir)
- New helicopter skin (thanks to Spc. Thefatgerbil)
- New vehicle skins (thanks to Spc. Thefatgerbil)

Tweaked:
- Reworked all the previous uniform skins with much higher detail (thanks to Pfc. Ateir)

We would like to welcome Ambassador McDodelijk into the development team, so woop woop! :)
Here is his first official set of bug fixes.

Fixed:
- Disable "no marker text" marker text and author's name in marker text
- Revisited UI actions for bobcat, arty, aircrafts and aa to remove language problems
- Removed debug messages, code for after the role selection update already included
- Fixed the suicide button, respawn button doesn't need to kill on abort any more
- Stop the spam in the server log files from the restart module

Another set of bug fixes.

Fixed:
- Error shown to clients in the first few minutes as officer
- Intel Laptops not able to spawn (Didymos Turbines), log files spam
- Medevac required distance to destination now consistent (5m)
- Removed unit deletion, so medevac missions can be successful

We applies a couple of changes to the mission today.

We would like to thank Amb. McDodelijk for his incredible work which made these changes possible.

The biggest change implemented is a change to the current vehicle service system. At our bases you will not longer be able to service assets via the bobcat. Instead you have to use the service pads now or buy additional Containers/Vehicles. However, the bobcat will instead be able to tow most assets so you can get them to the service pad if needed.

We also fixed some issues with the service system:
- Added flares for drones when reloading on service pad
- Added ability to toggle engines for UAVs in the menu
- Added ability to rearm properly with passengers on guns
- Drone Service Menu can now only be opened when having the controls of the UAV. Should make it more intuitive than before
- Removed 'Fuel leaking' when rotors have not come to a complete stop yet
- Removed extra magazine for Buzzard gun and jet flares when repairing
- Removed ability to speed up rearming and refueling by stacking. So only one service (rearm, refuel, repair) can be carried out at the same time
- Leaving the vehicle while servicing is not a problem anymore (only for aircrafts)
- Removed ability to rearm instantly
- Some 'unarmed' helicopters were unable to rearm properly
- Optimisations to rearming. Note: Rearming without changing the loadout will still restore the last loadout
- Removed need to be fully repaired to rearm and refuel. Service will stop when new damage is received.
- Rearming/refueling/repairing at the corresponding containers or trucks now uses our version from the service pad

Since towing on our server used to be a bit glitchy and somewhat unreliable we also tweaked the system around it so problems with the new service system can be minimized.
Changes to towing:
- Tweaked the towing of unlocked vehicles
- Fixed vehicles being towed in the ground (e.g. blackfish)
- Changed the way towed vehicles are released to prevent damage and explosions (at least when released at a big enough spot)
- UAV can not control a UAV while it is being towed
- It should no longer be possible for players to get in when starting to tow

Tweaks to the FOB:
- Removed that FOBs got fuel capabilities, when supplied with repair crate and the other way round
- Removed non functioncal 'radar service' and 'vehicle respawn' from the FOB

Tweaks to the reward system:
- We fixed the whole Taru section of the rewards. Now the Taru pods should spawn properly
- In return you can no longer buy the Tarus with pods already attached anymore
- Buy one of the newly added empty Tarus instead plus a pod of your choice!
- And to make the new deal even better Tarus are now able to reload flares at the service pad
- Added RHIB and Kajman missing preview images, because more pictures are always good
- Removed some Prowlers for color reasons
- Reward Offroads should no longer be damaged on spawn. They are proper second hand ware now
- Fixed problems with some weapon choices on Greyhawks, Neophrons and other some other rewards
- Fixed some minor issues with the way Reward Drones spawn in

Of course we also did do some other changes:
- Removed ability to make arsenals with the Edit Inventory function. Finally CSAT does not need to fear Mortar squads with endless ammo anymore.
- Added ability to add or subtract in stacks of 10 by holding down LShift so people can save time doing ammo drops that never arrive.
- Fixed the weight indicator for those who need to optimize everything in a crate
- No more edits when vehicle/container is dead. What is dead is dead and will not rise stronger to provide ammo
- Fixed tooltips for long item names
- UAVs no longer despawn when a UAV player leaves thus making Reward UAVs much more viable. We also removed the need to hack or unlock UAVs
- Fixed sandbags placement without a toolkit
- Removed the last of the easteregg vehicles as we were unsatisfied with them. They shall not be missed
- Not destroyed AAs will no longer provide points for the Reward System. Go earn you currency!
- Tweaks to the Defense Mission Difficulty to make it a little bit easier
- Added a module for Zeuses to automatically spawn a kart next to each player

Another set of awesome tweaks and bug fixes, thanks to Amb. McDodelijk! :)

Changes and improvements
  • Improvements to sandbag placement and preview (follows the ground height and normal)
  • Prevent respawn when a medic is in range. We hope this avoids the preemptive respawning by so many players
  • Medevac and respawn button more consistent; Medevac also only allowed after the 60 seconds cooldown
  • Flares only get reloaded when needed
  • HQ, UAV and Pilots get their own locked squads by default
  • Open squads do not absorb ungrouped players anymore
Fixes thanks to community bug reports:
  • Possible fix for vehicles exploding on service pads - feedback needed
  • Jet main gun rearms just like the pylons when nothing is selected
  • Fixed ground vehicles not being able to rearm at crates/trucks
  • UAV respawn removed assigned Items (Map, Terminal, Radio, ...)
  • Default Light AT Loadout was over-loaded
  • Fixed the mission notification position for some "GUI-scale" settings
  • Edit inventory fixed x10-modifier getting stuck
  • Potential fix for the suicide button crashing Arma - feedback needed
  • Players that are part of the same unit don't get put into the same squad on default anymore
  • Fixed an issue where a player joining got promoted to be squadlead

The next set of awesome tweaks and bug fixes, thanks to Amb. McDodelijk! :)

Respawning
  • Players now can disconnect from the server, even when they are down. (Does not apply when the server is restarting, because it involves the server kicking the player)
  • Pilots are able to respawn when all pilots are dead.
  • Pilot respawns are now visible in chat for everybody. See Pilot Handbook for guidelines on respawning
  • The distance a medic needs to be within to prevent the respawn now decreases over time.
  • The gods use new guidelines on whom to revive and whom to send to hell straight away :twisted:
Group Managment
  • Squads are limited to 16
  • New squads are locked (private) by default
  • Accepting invites by holding 'u' only accepts one invite per press and hold
  • Squad leadership gets transferred more consistent
  • HQ, Pilots and UAV get their squads set up when spawning automatically
  • Invites can only be sent by squad leaders (dead or alive)
Voice channels
  • Squad radio channels are now mutually exclusive
  • No channel switching or losing access to channels on death
  • Custom command channel:
    • Squad leaders can send voice (and send/receive text)
    • Ungrouped players can only hear (and send/receive text)
    • Regular squad members do not have access at all
    • On death the original squad leader maintains full access to the channel. The temporary squad leader gets access too for the time he is leading.
    • Default command channel is disabled - so keybindings do not work anymore!
Other
  • Mortars now have flares and smokes available Please mind the changes in the wiki on mortar squads
  • Vehicles on service pads need to stay on them while servicing
  • Squad leaders have the commander map: Map shows squad names and more info when clicking on squads
  • Crew list now sorts the vehicle passengers by squads
Fixes for reported bugs - thanks for the reports!
  • Bobcat learned how to clean up dead containers
  • Helicopters can now be serviced from the copilot seat as well
  • Flares not rearming in some circumstances
  • Fixed spawn point for escort side mission on AAC airfield
  • Adjusted edit inventory area to not be available on pad one on Altis airfield base
We did some internal changes too, which may lead to unknown issues on older features. If you see something, say something!

Tweaks and Changes:
  • CSAT developed a new GPS Jammer. An engineer with a toolkit is needed to disable it.
  • When securing the Datalink the last know position of all enemys in the AO is shared with all soldiers.
  • GPS Jammer, Datalink and Supply Depot now each give 10 reward points.
  • For the first time ever capturing the commander grants reward points (same as killing him), but increases the chances for a counter attack.
  • Imprisoning the captured commander at base will cancel any counter attack for that AO and give another 40 reward points.
  • Engineers can use their toolkit to refuel vehicles.
  • Limit sandbags per enigneer to 3.
Fixes:
  • Potential fix for losing the command channel intermittently
  • Jammed main weapon does not affect shooting of other weapons anymore
  • Weapon jamming can't be fixed by reloading other weapons anymore
  • Alive pilots respawning did not print the chat message, which now includes even more info

Tweaks and Changes:
  • 3rd AA slot added.
  • Base AA can be refilled for 60 points in the reward menu (max. 1x per AO)
  • Sandstorm artillery is no longer in service
  • Increased the maximum artillery shells per AO to 16 (2x smoke and 8x HE for free)
  • Artillery shells are on sale in the reward menu (max. 6 artillery related purchases per AO)
  • Artillery gives information how many shells can still be fired or bought
  • Public messages show what HQ buys in the reward menu
  • Increased the average amount of supplies in the AOs
  • Tweaked CSAT jet spawn so it will be easier for transport helicopters
  • Replaced the original Reward Supply Box with a smaller Box and adjusted prices for the Reward Supply Crates accordingly
Fixes:
  • Fix for CAP jets not respawning. Still happens? Contact us!
  • Command channel is now processed by the server to make it even more reliable. Still problems? Contact us!
  • Spawn position on Tanoa was death trap

Thank you very much for the past reports. We were able to fix some of the problems for today's update:
  • Fix for squad leaders losing command channel when incapacitated
  • Imprissoning the commander now blocks the defend mission for real
  • Improved the reliability of rearming the base AA
  • Dead engineers won't complete their sandbags while incapacitated
  • Removed unintentional plane service pad at the main airfield when the base is at the AAC airfield
  • We finally found the panther crew that sneaks to the AO from time to time without permission. They got discharged.
  • Swaping the jet is restricted to the base area (Forgot to include this with the last changelog)
