Some raw footage from the Livonia test session earlier today.
Would be great seeing this map on EU3 from now on.

I enjoyed Livonia a lot. I'm sure more testing is needed, but many people had the most fun on the public side in a long time during that test.

It's fresh, combines urban, forest and mountain environments in a singular map and to top it all off, almost every building can be entered.
The only Con that comes to mind is the requirement of the DLC.

I'm excited to see where this test is leading us, and I wouldn't mind if we switched the dead EU3 Altis to a lively EU3 Livonia.

Agree with Med, Livonia is very refreshing after hundreds of hours on good old Tanoa. The map is visually and tactically interesting, and the new AO's are.. well, new.

The only issue on this first test was the AI skill was a tad bit too much for this terrain (don't mind the shooting through bushes thing, shooting through walls is a different level).

I'd personally be happy if we rotated Livonia on EU2, maybe once a month for a week or something like that, if the EU3 server isn't up to the task of course.

Edit: also pretty important, perofrmance was suprisingly good for me personally, even with 50+ people on, comparable to Tanoa.

The recent test in Livonia was incredibly refreshing, after all these years we get to use our woodlands and black on greens (/ 'u')

The test map was a marvelous sight for my tired Tanoan eyes. The numbering of the pads however, was not. Would suggest to adjust it starting from left to right, or in this case, from S-W to N-E. Fairly certain it tiggered some OCDs when people where told to go pad 4 and went pad 1 and so on :). Force of habit from the other servers.

I'd love to experience it again ASAP :D

Dang, missed it. I wonder how would Livonia fit the usual JSOC scenario. I guess it's got some nice terrain variety, making armor much more useful in comparison to Tanoa. I believe the foliage is not that dense, so random vipers in the bushes won't wipe out entire teams quite as often. Overall I'm really curious how it all plays out, it might be a nice addition to the JSOC public experience.
