Extended profile

As the CLS of your squad, you are responsible to patch up the wounded members and resurrect the members who have been KIA. Therefore it is imperative you have a non-risk-taking mentality. In general, you will be guarding the rear of your squad and will be the last man in your formation. This is to minimize the chances of yourself getting killed and leaving your fellow squad members without medical assistance.

When a member gets injured or has sustained a battle wound you can heal them by using the scroll wheel and the treat option. This will heal the soldier up to full health (only works with both the medikit and first-aid kits equipped). If you do not have the medikit equipped it will restore your health just like it does for another role. As a medic, however, you should always have both equipped.

If one of your fellow members gets KIA, you can resurrect them by using the revive option. This also only works if you have the medikit equipped. As you are mostly going to be the only person available to treat personnel it is important to let other more 'non-essential' roles retrieve the wounded to a safe area so you can proceed treating them. Generally one would place a white smoke screen down to eliminate the direct line of sight in order to retrieve the wounded.

Injured members can signal their state to you by pressing 5 followed by 4 which will open the command menu and tell the medic they need assistance.
